It was a great day. It was a beautiful wedding and everyone had a fun time. The day before the wedding all the girls and moms gathered together and had pedicures. That has become my new addiction. I LOVE getting a pedicure!! My girls love it too and it is something fun we do together....

Addition to the Family!

Our family is soooo excited!! Branden and Sharla are expecting a baby!!! Dan and I are soo happy to be grandparents.(although we dont feel old enough to be grandparents!) The baby will be due sometime in November. Dan is already planning on all the many things he will buy this baby. I think he said he was going to buy his or hers first bow and Sharla's dad said he was going to buy the first 4wheeler. Men!! Anyway our family is very thankful for this new blessing.
Also, I had my student advisement today and everything is in place to start education classes this fall. I have 6 hrs left on my degree to take along with these classes. I have to attend an orientation to officially be accepted into the College of Education! All in all this has been a very good day!

Well, my daughter Whitney has finally convinced me to start this blog, even though I think she might be the only one to read it! So here is a little background info: I have an awesome husband , Dan, and we have been married for 25 yrs (wow that is a long time). I am a full time college student. I attend UTA and will graduate in 2010 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, and with this degree I plan on teaching 4th-8th grades in Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. I have three children; Branden, Whitney, and Laura. Branden is 23 and married Sharla in August 2007. Whitney is 21 and is attending Texas Woman's University in Denton. She is majoring in Biology and wants to attend med school. Laura is 18 and a senior at AHS and wants to be a special education teacher. Laura will graduate in May and will attend TCC in the fall. Dan is the plant manager for Liquid Enviromental Solutions in Dallas. He loves his job but it does keep him very busy. It is spring break time and it is raining! I think its rained between 2-5 inches! Of course with all this rain it makes it very hard for me to move. I love rain and thunder storms but I don't like the pain it brings to my body! Oh well, that is life and it to shall pass!
